Who we are

LifeAI is a personal productivity assistant that helps you manage tasks, appointments, finances, health goals, and communications — all in one place.

What data we collect

We collect only the data necessary to provide our service:

  • Account information — your name and email address when you sign up
  • Tasks and appointments — items you create within the app
  • Financial data — expenses you manually log in the Finance section
  • Health data — steps, water, sleep, and mindfulness data you log or sync via Google Fit
  • AI chat history — messages you send to the AI assistant (not stored permanently)
  • Gmail data — only if you choose to connect your Gmail account (read and send access)

How we use your data

Your data is used solely to power the LifeAI service:

  • To display your tasks, appointments, finances, and health data on your dashboard
  • To generate AI-powered plans, email drafts, and finance summaries
  • To sync your data across devices via Firebase Firestore
  • To authenticate you securely via Firebase Authentication

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than providing the service to you.

Third-party services

LifeAI uses the following trusted third-party services:

  • Firebase (Google) — authentication and database storage. Firebase Privacy Policy
  • Groq AI — powers the AI chat, email drafting, and day planning features. Messages are processed by Groq but not stored permanently.
  • Gmail API (Google) — only accessed if you explicitly connect your Gmail account. We only read and send emails on your behalf.
  • Google Fit API — only accessed if you explicitly connect Google Fit to sync your step count.

Data storage & security

Your data is stored securely in Google Firebase Firestore, protected by Firebase's industry-standard security rules. Only you can access your own data — each user's data is isolated by their unique user ID.

We use HTTPS for all data transmission and Firebase Authentication for secure login. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled entirely by Firebase and Google.

Gmail & Google Fit access

If you choose to connect your Gmail or Google Fit account:

  • Gmail access is used only to read your inbox and send emails on your behalf
  • Google Fit access is used only to read your step count for the Health dashboard
  • You can revoke access at any time via your Google Account permissions
  • We do not store your Gmail or Google Fit tokens permanently — they are held in server memory only

Your rights

You have full control over your data:

  • Access — you can view all your data directly in the app
  • Delete — you can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us
  • Export — contact us to request a copy of your data
  • Revoke access — disconnect Gmail or Google Fit at any time via Google Account settings

Cookies

LifeAI uses minimal cookies and browser storage (localStorage) only for maintaining your login session. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

Children's privacy

LifeAI is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
